Now, the second design has been one of my favorite photographs to use. My friend Alesia gave this picture of her mom with some friends to me and told me to be as artistic as I wanted. Don't they look like they are having the most fun?! I enjoyed trying to capture the fun and free spirited feel of this photograph. Alesia, I hope your mom will wear this with fond memories, that is after you wear it for a while-Ha!

These are a couple of designs that I worked on last week. The first design is a part of what I'm calling my "Behind the Looking Glass" collection. I named it this because of the very "whimsical" gypsy style. Thank you, Allison for letting me be as creative as I wanted to be.

Puppy Love
Last week I had the privilege of making a necklace for a friend of mine. It was her daughter's 10th birthday and that's a big deal! I always love to make jewelry out of all kinds of photographs, old photos, new photos, etc. and each photo has it's own history or story to go with it and I've cherished each one, however...
I had the MOST FUN creating this! Cora, I hope you enjoy your necklace because I certainly enjoyed making it for you. Of course having a dog of my own and two daughters that saw the end product, wanted one of their own. Thanks Kristi!
